Zenith Watches
The founder, Georges Favre-Jacot, had an obsession: to create the most precise and reliable watches of his time. Back then though, the task was difficult as craftsmen worked in various isolated workshops.
Well, that was not a problem for our 22-year-old visionary watchmaker who decided to build spacious buildings and to bring all the watchmaking trades under a single roof in the town of Le Locle, Switzerland. Amazingly enough, the location has remained unchanged since 1865.
All the production and administration are centralized in one site, as the idea is to keep a human dimension. Indeed, the Manufacture currently hosts 80 professions, exercised by merely 250 employees.
